About this Course

Level 7: This course focuses on basic English grammar skills for high-intermediate English learners. Topics covered include parts of speech and future tense including applications for asking and answering questions.

    • Participial Adjectives

    • Groups of 3 -Create 6 sentences using participle adjectives correctly.(3-"ed" ending)(3-"ing" ending)

    • Noun Clauses and Participial Adjectives

    • Student Conferences 10/25-26 re: Learned objectives/Pearson exercises completed/corrections from worksheets examined

    • Adjective Clauses and choosing correctly use of gerund or infinitive to complete a sentence.

    • Producing 2 sentences with gerunds and 2 sentences with infinitives using specified verbs in sentences; Rewriting active->passive voice sentences.

    • Completion of Pearson daily exercises for each unit matching objectives 10/24-11/03 (listed in class 10/26)

  • Week 4
    • Group/partner practice prior to EVALUATIONS: Adj. Clauses/Passive Voice/Gerunds&Infinitives
